Clear, concise, to the point. This is so important in today’s market place as there are so many different channels of communication – as it is, you outline 16 in this post alone. With so many different communication options you need to give your audience the information up front so that they know exactly what you are asking.
]]>Great, thank you John. One thing I’m alluding to is what this article states about not investing in SEO unless you’re really ready for it. So, for that reason, I advised my client to do simpler marketing channels/tactics, vs. the one that requires more prerequisites, like SEO in this case: http://www.marketingprofs.com/opinions/2016/29467/five-reasons-you-should-not-invest-in-seo-this-year#ixzz42KN5VyqQ
]]>Deekron, thanks for writing. This is a tricky question because it would involve assessing which channel is currently bringing in the most profit and how to leverage. As for grouping them as “easy” and “hard” – it depends on their technical abilities. I did break out the involvement of each channel in this post if you want to take another look.
]]>Thanks, Corey. Appreciate the feedback.
]]>Well without over-complicating it, direct response offers that work on Facebook also work well on an actual adwords display ads when advertising to the same exact or similar audiences. Since you’re targeting can be similar on each now that Google has the feature to upload e-mail lists and can retarget the same way on either platform using cookie and page segmentation, anything you do one one should automatically be done on the other for more leverage. Use your house list the way it was designed people!
]]>Quick question: Of those 16 marketing channels you mentioned, would you be able to group them into A. Easier to do and B. Harder to do?
They reason I ask is, I have a client who has invested very little in Marketing (don’t even have one F/T marketing head). So I’m trying to get them to focus on activities that are easier to do, like partnerships, vs. harder / more advanced, like PR.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
