And one I discovered recently is to complete the handout 100% first – then write and tweak the Powerpoint. Your “map” effectively does the same thing.

I never cover everything on my handout, but it sure helps me to know what I would like to cover – which naturally is often limited by time, and yes, less is always safer.

Our passive, colorful media world has done a lot to increase the impact of an active, colorful story told by an experienced practicioner.
